Thomas E. Keane, MD

Thomas Keane MD is a Chicago native who graduated with degrees in
mechanical engineering and English Literature from the University of
Illinois. After working as a business consultant for Ernst & Young, he
completed an MD at Albany Medical College, a surgery internship at Johns
Hopkins, a radiology residency at New York Presyterian Cornell, and a
vascular-interventional fellowship at Johns Hopkins, where he was the
chief fellow. He has served as a clinical assistant professor at Johns
Hopkins, as Senior Medical Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of Health &
Human Services, and is currently a voting member of the US Council for
Graduate Medical Education (www.cogme.gov) in Washington, DC. He is a practicing interventional radiologist who specializes in providing care to rural and underserved populations.
